Principle and features of DTG printing
DTG technology for direct digital printing on a textile inkjet printer.
DTG printers use textile inks that are applied superficially to fabrics.
Since the ink is water-based, it works best when printed on natural fibers such as cotton, bamboo, hemp, and flax.
The textile that will be printed is pre-processed using a detergent that reacts to the ink, for brighter and sharper fingers and better grip on the textile thread.
Pretreatment is heat-and dried, and the textile fibers should be lightened. This is especially important when you use white ink on dark clothing.
Once the clothing has been properly prepared in advance, it is digitally printed with the selected design.
When printing is complete, it should be installed with a heat press or tunnel dryer to polymerize the ink, and the footprint to become water-repellent.
