“Kodak Resolute Ink Premium – DTF” inks are developed using modern technology allowing direct printing on foil (DTF) with printers using Epson print heads.

They provide the imprint (print) with exceptional elasticity, resistance to washing and, at the same time, saturated and vivid colors.
The print can be placed on almost all types of fabric (cotton, polyester, linen, silk, wool, hemp, blend…), both light and dark textiles.

They are characterized by the highest degree of protection of the print head and the shortest time and lowest temperature of fixation.

DTF inks from the “Kodak Resolute Ink Premium” series, FTF film and Powder are produced under license and technology of the world leader KODAK.

GUIDELINES FOR POWDERING, DRYING AND SETTING

– powdering – 3-15 min. after printing
– drying after powdering – for 150-250 seconds at 125-155 C.
– pressing the print on the textile – for 15 seconds at a temperature of 150 C.
– wait to cooldown before remove the foil
– press again with silicone paper for 5 seconds.

WASHING RECOMMENDATIONS FOR TEXTILES PRINTED WITH "KODAK RESOLUTE INK PREMIUM"

– Washing should be done at a temperature of up to 40 oC
– The garment should be turned with the print inside out.
– Do not use stain removers or other similar chemical substances.

For best and long-lasting results, use Kodak Resolute Ink Premium inks in combination with KODAK FTF Film and KODAK Powder.

To obtain prints with a “bright” and “vibrant” print, quick drying and resistance to repeated washing, it is recommended to follow the technological process and use the inks with the corresponding Kodak consumables (foil and powder).

Loading the inks:

In order to load your DTG printer with Kodak Resolute Ink Premium CMYK + White inks, it is not mandatory to flush the ink system. You can choose between two of the following procedures:

NO FLUSHING OF THE INK SYSTEM AND THE PRINT HEAD. SEE MORE...

If your printer is not yet charged, or you have verified that your old inks are compatible with “Kodak Resolute Ink Premium”.
Rinse the ink tank with flushing fluid and pour Kodak Resolute Ink Premium. Fill the ink tract and bleed air.

WITH FLUSHING OF THE INK SYSTEM AND THE PRINT HEAD. SEE MORE...

If your printer is loaded with inks that you are not sure are compatible with Kodak Resolute Ink Premium inks.
Rinse the already emptied ink containers with washing liquid.
Pour in clean flushing fluid and flush the entire ink tract.
Discard the remaining wash liquid and pour Kodak Resolute Ink Premium CMYK + White.
Fill the ink tract and bleed air.

Be sure to test the inks for compatibility before deciding which of the procedures to use.
Keep in mind that different ink brands may have different pigmentation and fixation times. Therefore, our recommendation is option 2 (With flushing of the ink system and the head).

To obtain prints with “bright” and “vibrant” print, fast fixation and resistance to repeated washing it is recommended to follow the technological process and use of inks with the corresponding Kodak consumables:

– Kodak DTF (FTF) film
– Resolute Premium Kodak powder
